    The appearance of Bidens pilosa var. minor and Bidens pilosa var. pilosa in the vegetative growth stage is very similar to that of Bidens pilosa var. minor and Bidens pilosa var. pilosa, which belong to the same species. Perennial herb, up to nearly 2 meters tall. The stem is square with obvious longitudinal edges.

    LEAF

    The leaves are simple, trifoliate to pinnately lobed or pinnately compound; the pinnae are oval or lanceolate, the top pinnae are larger, the apex is sharp, and the leaves have coarsely serrated edges.

    INFLORESCENCE

    The flowers on the head are terminal or axillary and arranged in the shape of a corymb. The outer involucral bracts are spatulate-shaped and ciliate, while the inner bracts are lanceolate. The tongue-shaped flowers are white, occasionally slightly purple in color with veins, and the corolla is 1-1.5 cm long. Heart flower yellow. The achenes are black and have 2 or 3 awn-like crests with reverse spines. They can attach to humans and animals and spread to distant places. This species can generate adventitious roots.

    The Bidens albais native to the Americas and is currently distributed in North America, South America, North Africa and South Asia.

    APPLICATIONS
